El precio del petróleo bajó el jueves en la apertura en Nueva York, afectado por un aumento mayor del previsto de las existencias en Estados Unidos, en un contexto mundial de inquietud por el exceso de oferta de crudo.
Hacia las 13H00 GMT, el precio del barril de «light sweet crude» para entrega en octubre perdía 38 centavos, a 44,32 dólares en el New York Mercantile Exchange (Nymex).
